The Dental Team

We’re a fun loving bunch of people who take pride in our work and enjoy making people smile!

Dr Nabeel Muhairez, BDS (Lond.), LDS RCS (Eng.) Principal Dentist

How did you get into dentistry?
Having qualified from the University of London (the Royal Dental Hospital & Guys Hospital) and the Royal College of Surgeons of England, I worked in London, initially in the NHS and then in private practice. A desire for fresh air and rolling countryside led me to move to North Yorkshire where I practised in several of the market towns whilst holding a position as Clinical Assistant in Orthodontics at the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton.

When did you establish Hampsteads and why?
We opened our doors in 1999. I reached a point where I wished to have control over the types of services I offered, the way in which they were offered and the surroundings in which they were offered. In particular, customer service is at the forefront of everything we do – I like to think we are not in the dental business, we are in the people business and just happen to do teeth. Also there’s no smell of the dentists!

Three words to describe your interests outside of work?
Wine, women and song.
