Your First Dental Appointment
First impressions count to us, so from the moment you walk into Hampsteads we want you to feel welcome. In an increasingly impersonal world we understand that you want personalised, first class care from your dental practice. That’s what we strive to provide.
As a new patient we want to share with you “The Hampsteads Experience”. Your first visit may take a little longer than you are used to; the process is designed to allow you to tell us your concerns and for us to prescribe your needs.
To arrange your first appointment simply call our dental receptionist on 01609 761377 or contact us and she will arrange a convenient appointment time for you. She will also confirm your name, address and contact details so that we can register you as a patient prior to your first visit.
Before Your Appointment
You will be sent some forms via email to complete prior to your appointment so that your dentist understands more about your individual medical history and any past dental work you may have had. Please bring a list of any medications you are currently taking so that your dentist is aware of these.
Dr Muhairez will discuss and listen to your particular concerns with sensitivity and patience. You will be escorted to one of our treatment rooms and an extensive clinical examination will follow. This includes a visual inspection of the hard and soft tissues in the mouth (for dental disease and oral cancer), x-rays and any necessary digital reference photographs.
The findings of the dental examination will be discussed with you and an opportunity given for you to ask questions regarding the treatment planning.
Finally, one of our team will discuss the treatment proposals with you and a written estimate, along with finance, is prepared for your approval. Our receptionist will then book any appointments that are required.
We offer interest free finance options for treatment plans over the value of £500 and all new patients will be required to join one of our Membership Plans,
