FAQs Quick Straight Teeth™

What is Quick Straight Teeth?™
Quick Straight Teeth™ is a discreet braces system made from transparent materials. QST has been developed to work specifically on the front six or eight teeth.

It is not designed to correct major orthodontic problems, but works very well for correcting minor to moderate issues. Treatment prices can be more affordable than for similar types of braces, and straightening times range from 4-24 weeks, depending on the problems to be corrected.

Am I suitable for QST?
The best way to find out is to book a free consultation. QST will work best for patients who have slightly protruding front teeth, and mild to moderate overcrowding.

What happens during treatment?
During your Quick Straight Teeth™ appointment we will take digital photographs, X-rays if required, impressions, assess you occlusion (bite) and examine your smile. This information along with our report is sent to the Quick Straight Teeth ™ laboratory.

Following this you will be fitted with your custom designed braces which are made up of small tooth coloured brackets and white wires.

After this first fitting you will need to visit Hampsteads every 4-5 weeks for regular adjustments of your braces until the end of your treatment.

Is it comfortable?
As with all Orthodontic treatments, QuickStraightTeeth™ will take a short space of time for you to adjust to the clear brace. QuickStraightTeeth™ has developed a range of clear braces that reduce discomfort significantly. Our patients have only ever felt minimal discomfort for a couple of days, after which your mouth adjusts to the newness of the appliance. We have had no complaints about any major or long term discomfort

How much does it cost?
As with all other types of Orthodontic treatments, the cost of QuickStraightTeeth™ is dependent on the complexity of your case and the course of treatment provided. However, QST treatments are usually available from £999 per arch.

Do you offer finance?
Yes. We offer Interest free finance over 12 months and low interest finance over a longer period of time. this can be tailored to suit your budget.

Will I need a retainer?
Yes you will. It is our belief that retention is for life! Teeth have a tendency to continually move throughout a lifetime, so the more we can do to prevent that, the better. We can provide all necessary retention as part of your treatment plan. Any patient not taking up retention will assume responsibility for the teeth drifting back to their original position.
